Primagency is the "LendingTree" of Business Loans - the largest business loan brokerage agency in the US. Our target market is exclusively middle market CEO's.
The Primagency group of companies facilitates more than $5 billion of new loan closings annually.
We seek a high powered manager for an additional field office in the Lincoln Center area. Mission is to recruit, motivate, and manage a group of approximately 6 people and building to 25.
We provide strong support, including scripts, established procedures, custom easy to use crm software (looks like goldmine/act!/maximizer) for tracking and management, database leads (targeted), and more.
We have a strong value proposition for CEO's of middle market companies, and are contemplating an add-on value of enormous loyalty awards with airlines as well.
Our product is - broker business loans - loan sizes begin at $1,000,000. We do not do SBA loans or real estate. Only operating businesses (accounts receivable, inventory, equipment, etc). We have a full back office of credit analysts for underwriting and loan placement. NO CONSUMER LOANS, MORTGAGES, RESIDENTIAL, OR COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE (those markets are dead).

Academic Consultant

Established, national academic consulting firm is looking to add an additional consultant to our existing group. This company provides support services to the nation's community and technical colleges who are conducting a search for a CEO or other senior administrator.
ALL of our consultants are highly experienced professionals, most of whom are retired higher education administrators or faculty. Many of the consultants have been with the firm for 5 years or more.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Five to seven years of higher education experience,administrative or full-time faculty, preferably within a community or technical college;
2. Not currently employed or on contract with an educational institution;
3. Master’s degree (minimum) from an accredited university;
4. A demonstrated commitment to the unique mission of community colleges;
5. A demonstrated commitment to diversity and gender equity;
6. Available during typical business hours, Mon-Fri;
7. The willingness to work within strict standards of excellence;
8. Strong telephone interview and writing skills; and
9. Solid knowledge of MS Word.
The successful candidate will enjoy:
1. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE: All consultants are independent contractors (1099) and are therefore free to accept or reject any project, when offered. Consultants are free to sign on and off the company's rotating roster at-will, for up to 3 months at a time (May and June excepted).
2. EXCELLENT INCOME: Based on a rate of $50/hr., individual income varies based on the number of projects accepted. (Never a fee to consultants.)
3. NO TRAVEL: Most of our consultants work from a home based office. However, some consultants prefer to work out of a separate office. As independent contractors, office arrangements are at the discretion of the consultant.
This position is ideal for the retired academician who is looking to contribute to the continued growth and advancement of the nation's community and technical colleges.
