I am looking for a qualified graphic artist or talented visual artist of any sort who is willing to learn a handful of computer technologies to help me with a handful design projects for small computer companies. Projects vary from website design, to print ads, to PowerPoint Slides, to logo design and branding revisions.
My current handful of project would amount to short term work, though I am currently turning away additional projects due to my own lack of time and resources. A perfect candidate is creatively gifted and interested in the longer term risks and rewards of private contracting work, though short term application experts in Flash and the Office tools are also be useful to me.
Expect to present a portfolio demonstrating either excellence in the visual arts or expert level understanding of a handful of the tools pervasive in the electronic design world, such as Flash/Flex, Ajax, InDesign, Illustrator, and MS Office 97 and 2007.
Telecommuting is OK, but occasional face-to-face meetings may be important.
Location: Kirkland
Compensation: Pay will be $40 to $100/hr depending on the complexity of the project.
Telecommuting is ok.
This is a part-time job.
