Get some free advertising for you business, help the environment and other local businesses all at the same time. Collect magazines from friends, family and even freecycle.com when they are done with them. This costs you nothing at all. Then tape an envelope inside each one that says "This Magazine Donated By (Your Business Name) and place your business cards inside. Donate the magazines to waiting rooms at dentist offices, auto repair shops, doctor's offices, salons (hair, nails & tanning) and any other place with a busy waiting room. They get the benefit of having a variety of magazines in their waiting room, the clients get to read something, you get to advertise and everyone wins. This is nothing but a win-win-win situation.
You can do this with books too. Go to yard sales & used book sales as they are closing up and ask if you can have any books they are going to throw away. Get a free or cheap stamp from
Vista Print and stamp the inside of each book "Donated By (Your Business Name) (Website or Phone#)"
