SustainableBusiness.com, which runs Green Dream Jobs, is looking for a person to select, write and postﾠour daily news. This is aﾠpart-time position with room to grow.ﾠ
SustainableBusiness.com is a global internet portal, providing information and networking services to help green business grow. Online for 11 years, we cover all sustainable business sectors worldwide, offering visitors a unique lens to view the field as a whole: clean energy, green building, green investing, organic products, climate change and all subjects that impact sustainability.

Job Description:
We publish Daily Sustainable Business News and Daily Sustainable Investor news on our home page Monday - Friday. Depending on how much news there is on a given day, it can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours a day. You would need to be available three days a week to post news approximatelyﾠbetween 9:30-11:30 AM EST, and 5 days a week for several weeks during the year. News: We'll provide you with a set of links that takes you to the best sources for daily sustainable business and investor news. We usually publishﾠ7-10 general and 4-6 investor stories each day. Some are simply links and others are stories under SustainableBusiness.com News. Out of the 50 or so stories you'll scan each day, you need to know the field well enough to be able to selectﾠthe most important, interesting business and investor stories. You need to be familiar with the companies in the field and withﾠgreen building, renewable energy and other sustainable sectors so that you can distinguish unimportant news from important news. You must alsoﾠhave an understanding of investing concepts so that you can write news related to public and private equity companies.ﾠ For SustainableBusiness.com News, you need to be able to quickly edit press releases and turn them into more interesting stories. There are also times when you need to take several articles and condense them into one interesting article - in about 10 minutes! You need to be able to create compelling first sentences and choose what's important to include from a press release, turning it into a news story. A high speed internet connection is necessary to do this job. We require a minimum of a one year time commitment.

Pay:
The first week we'll do some test runs to determine if your skills match the job. This is unpaid. After this comes training time. Pay for training time is negotiable.ﾠAs soon as you're up to speed, which hopefully will only take a few weeks, you'll make $15/ hour until you add value.ﾠ
